Bronwyn Lenova Porter

Bronwyn Porter, at age 58, passed away peacefully at her home on May 13, 2024. Born on May 26, 1965, to C.D. and Patsy Ellison in Dallas, Texas, Bronwyn lived a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Bronwyn graduated from DeSoto High School and continued her education at Mountain View College and Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of many children while working at various childcare centers. Additionally, she served as a phlebotomist at Carter Blood Care, where her kindness and professionalism were deeply appreciated.

Bronwyn's greatest joy came from her family. She met her beloved husband, Blake, at DeSoto Private School where they both worked, and were married on June 21, 1985. Together, they built a life centered around their children and grandchildren.

Bronwyn was the mother of two daughters, Brennan, born December 15, 1986, and Brooke, born July 1, 1992. Her daughters were an important part of her life as were her grandchildren. As a grandmother to seven grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Gigi," Bronwyn's love knew no bounds. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

In her younger years, fond memories were created with her brother, Donny, her nieces, and her cousins. They were inseparable. Creating a tapestry of love and joy, their memories live on.

Bronwyn's kindness and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her.

Services will be at Jeter & Son Chapel, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m..

Entombment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
