Obituary

Billie Carroll Ferguson

Billie Carroll Ferguson was born to the parents of Juanita Turney and Oliver William Ferguson on November 24, 1934 In Claude, TX.  Billie and his 4 brothers grew up in Arcadia Park, TX.

After Billie completed the 9th grade, he received his GED and moved forward with enlisting in the Army. Billie served in the military for 37 years 7 months and 19 days. He was Sargent's first class, E-7. Billie was also a mason for many years.

While Billie was in the Army Reserve, he worked for C & R Transmissions and then opened C&F Transmissions in Oak Cliff, TX. He had a passion for working on cars like his dad did.

Billie met his wife and mother of his children- Wanda Fern Boles Ferguson, at the skating rink. They shared many years of their lives together, as well as 4 children.  As true love found its way home, Billie and Wanda reconnected later in life and spent the last 3 and half years together.

After Billie retired, he occupied most of his time by fishing, boating and hunting on the Frambrough ranch.  He was always ready to go to the Chinese buffet in Eastland and have some frog legs.  He liked Flossies and Mary's just as much. No matter where Billie was, he was always dressed to impress, and took great pride in his appearance.
