Beverly Althea James

Beverly Althea James was born July 20, 1954 in Onancock, Virginia to Louis and Catherine Bailey and went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2026 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 71.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony James, their son Anthony James Jr., grandsons Gabriel, Gregory James and Tenziah Rogers.

Her brothers Kenny, Donzell and Richard Bailey, and her sister Paulette Allan. Special love, her two uncles Tyrone & Perry Bailey.

How do you explain that two people who had become one have been separated in this world? After 52 years of being one, the loss is like leaving half of yourself empty. Memories come flooding back, and love never fades. It helps to know that this is only a temporary separation, and we will be together again in due season. So much love.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.
