Obituary

Barbara Jean Jordan

Barbara Jean Jordan was born on June 20, 1957, to Viola Maurine and Weldon "Jack" Eugene Leesman. Dallas was her hometown, and she had a lot of memories growing up on Alaska St.. Barbara took the journey to rest with her Heavenly Father on March 4, 2024, for all eternity.

Barbara had a big heart and a free spirit. Life with Barbara was a daring adventure, you never knew what she may say or do to catch you by surprise. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone unconditionally. She especially loved her dogs, all seven of them! When it came to helping others, Barbara was there with a caring heart. She was a getter done kind of girl who knew how to make things happen no mater what the circumstances were.

Barbara lived life to its fullest. She may have had a lot of ups and downs through out her life. There were times she may not have always made the right choices, but that is what made her one of the kindest ladies you may ever come across. She had a special gift of empathy, understanding what others maybe going through. Barbara appreciated all the little things in life.

Barbara had been fighting cancer for over a year, after being told she only had 6 months to live. She was fighting the battle, but God decided to take her home before cancer could win. Barbara was a loving wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, and aunt. Barbara was blessed with 8 kids, 28 grandkids and 22 great grandkids… Oh,  and don't forget her dogs she loved so much!

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy Williams, both of her parents, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her brother Ronnie Leesman, her sisters Joan Leesman, Linda Leesman, Patricia McKnight and Betty Lou King, and her niece Dusty McKnight.

Barbara is survived by her husband Rusty Jordan, her daughter Terri Girard, son James Girard (wife Jamie), daughter Brandy Pardun (husband William), son Jason Jordan  (wife Debbie), daughter Julie Pustejovsky (husband Dale), son Jeffery Jordan and daughter Clara Jordan. As well as her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
