Arturo Hernandez Martinez

October 14, 1947 - October 25, 2023

Arturo Martinez Sr, 76, was born October 14, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away on October 25, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Arturo is a veteran of the Vietnam War, as a soldier in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Martinez.  His daughter Regina M. Armendarez and spouse Augustine.  His son Arturo Martinez, Jr. and spouse Mary Jane.  His grandchildren: Kristy (Chris), Christopher (Jackie), Jesse Jr (Erika), Ariel, and Timothy.  His great grandchildren: Julian, Mason, Adriana, Willow, Scarlett, and Aaliyah.

He was preceded in death by his parents Saragosa and Celestina Martinez, his sisters Gloria Velasquez and Irene Cardenas, and his brother George Martinez, Sr.

Services :

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 12noon.  Service will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas

Military Honors & Inurnment Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1:15pm.  Service will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Afterwards, from 2:00 - 4:00PM, the family invites you to join them at a gathering at the American Legion, 2804 S. Cockrell Hill Rd, Dallas, TX  75211.
