Antonio "Tony" Gonzales
November 10, 1946 - April 5, 2024
Antonio Gonzales, age 77, passed away on April 5, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tony was born on November 10, 1946 in Winters, Texas, where he spent his formative years. He went on to join the U.S. Navy in 1964. Later, Tony became a mechanic and focused on paint & body and opened his own shop. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Tony was an avid pool player who played with BCA and APA leagues. Besides playing with the leagues, he loved playing pool with his daughters. Of course it wouldn't be Tony if he wasn't telling his jokes and making everyone around him laugh. If you couldn't find Tony at the shop, pool hall or with family; there was only one place he would definitely be… Winstar.
Tony is survived by his loving mother, Manuela Gonzales, his children:
Letticia Garibay (James) of Cedar Hill, Texas
Sara Gonzales of Dallas, Texas
Peggy Avila (Frank) of Mesquite, Texas
Toniette Gonzales of Irving, Texas
April Green of Arlington, Texas

Sister – Rita Lopez of Kennedale, Texas
Brothers – Jimmy Gonzales (Hopie) of Rowlett, Texas and Albert (Vivian) Gonzales of El Paso, Texas, plus four nieces, five nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
