Ann Marie
Elliott
Aug 5, 1952 — Jan 13, 2026
Ann Marie Elliott, 73, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by love and the legacy of a life that touched countless hearts.
Born on August 5, 1952, to Walter and Virginia Soumis. Ann spent her early years in Chassell, Michigan — a place that always remained close to her heart. She later built her life in Texas, living many years in Arlington and Cedar Hill, where her warmth, laughter, and unmistakable presence filled every room she entered.
Ann had a personality the size of Texas. She could make anyone smile, laugh, or feel instantly at ease. She was a natural giver — the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back, show up without being asked, and shower everyone around her with love, encouragement, and care. Her kindness was not quiet; it was generous, joyful, and constant.
Ann is survived by her children, her son Roland Elliott and her daughter Elliott Dupre; her son-in-law, Sergio Cepeda; her daughter-in-law, Lyndse Elliott; and her treasured grandsons, Aiden, Roland, and Cason Elliott, who were the light of her life. She was the oldest of seven siblings and shared deep lifelong bonds with her brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind countless loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with her extended family from Guam, all of whom were deeply loved and will forever cherish her memory.
For most of her career, Ann served as an executive assistant with dedication and professionalism at organizations including Lehigh Press, Sprint, and Burds Reed, and Mercer. Earlier in her career, she worked in a pharmacy before transitioning into the corporate world, where her reliability, warmth, and sharp organizational skills were deeply valued.
Ann was married twice and lived her life with resilience, grace, and an open heart. Above all, she was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who loved fiercely and fully. Her laughter, her stories, her hugs, and her ability to make people feel truly seen will never be forgotten.
Ann's remains will be laid to rest in Chassell, Michigan, returning her to the place where her story began.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
