A Mother's Legacy — Our Beloved Mom, Anita
Some people leave behind possessions or accomplishments. Our mother leaves behind something far more precious: a lifetime of love, memories, and a legacy that will live through her children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
Mom taught us agape love, selfless, unconditional love that gives without expecting anything in return. Her lifetime work was being a mother, and she gave herself completely to her family. She made everyone feel seen, valued, welcomed, and loved. Her wisdom came from a lifetime of loving, raising, guiding, and caring for those around her.
To us, she was the First Lady of Oak Cliff, funny, warm, beautiful, cool, and full of personality. Her humor and kindness were her superpowers. She could make people laugh, feel comfortable, and feel at home.
She gave us one of life's greatest gifts: her time, her love, and her presence. She brightened our days simply by being there and made us feel loved, safe, accepted, and blessed to be her children.
Her greatest legacy is the people she loved, the family she raised, the lives she touched, and the love she passed from one generation to the next.
Mom, your presence on this earth may have ended, but your agape love did not. It lives in us. You were, and always will be, our First Lady of Oak Cliff.
With all our love,
Your beloved children
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Ayala and Rosanna Aguero. Anita is survived by her 8 children: Anita Chavez; Rose Rojo; Linda Williams (Richard); Robert Ayala (Juanita); Albert Ayala; Sylvia Najera (Jaime); Alice Leal; Corina Ayala. Additionally, 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and many more loving family members and friends.
