Aniceto Diaz Guzman, 75, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024.
Aniceto D. Guzman was born on October 3, 1948, in Raymondville, Texas. He was born to Aurora Diaz Guzman and Jose Maria Guzman. He met and married Josephine DeLaTorre Guzman of Dallas, Texas in 1971 and was dedicated and married until Josephine passed away in 2019. Aniceto then met and married Sally Saenz Guzman from Austin, Texas in 2023. Aniceto attended Raymondville High School.
Aniceto Guzman served for the United States Army during the Vietnam War. "A.D." (as they called him in the Army) was a Vietnam veteran who earned his Purple Heart and served this country well. After the Army he joined the National Guard. He served his country for over 40 years. Aniceto was not only in the Army and National Guard he was also retired from working in construction and laying concrete for over 40 years. Aniceto was a true soldier. He played many roles in each of our lives. He even raised grandkids and great grandkids. He cared for two wives and was a providing husband until his last breath. Most of all Aniceto was a man of God.
He is proceeded by death by his parents Jose Maria and Aurora Diaz Guzman; his first wife Josephine DeLaTorre Guzman; his daughter Aurora Ann Guzman Hernandez; his great granddaughter Amarie Elizardo; his twin great grandsons Augustino and Alexander Elizardo; his stepbrothers Charlie Garcia; Daniel Garcia; Hector Garcia; and his stepsister Estella Barnhart
Survivors include wife Sally Saenz Guzman of Grand Prairie, Texas; his son Gino Guzman and his wife Tiffany Guzman of Arlington, Texas; his daughter Christina Ann Guzman of Irving, Texas; his stepdaughter Tracy Ann Paredez and her husband Raymond Paredez Jr. of Arlington, Texas; and his sister Mirnerva G Campos of Burleson, Texas. Along with 11 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Military honors and internment to follow at Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery.
