Adelina Veracruz Calvillo
January 23, 1939 – April 15, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving mom Adelina Veracruz Calvillo, who peacefully left us on April 15, 2025, at the age of 86, in Dallas, Texas. Born in Cameron, Texas, on January 23, 1939, Adelina was the beloved daughter of the late Linda Simons and Jesse Veracruz.

Adelina was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Nicolas R. Calvillo II, daughters Diane A. Calvillo and Patricia A. Calvillo-Zuniga, Her grandchildren, Dominic Roston I, Adrian Calvillo, Xavier Calvillo, Andrew Rodriguez I, Christopher Rodriguez, Blake Calvillo, Triston Calvillo, and Chloe Zuniga, Her great-grandchildren, Dominic Roston II, Destiny Roston, Isaac Guerra, Diamond Diaz, Armoney Roston, Jewels Roston, and Andrew Rodriguez II and one great-great-grandchild, Dior Roston. She was deeply cherished by her family, who will always remember her love, strength, and warmth.

Adelina was a very hard working humbled woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she found joy in visits to the casino. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her sassy feisty attitude , and the laughter she brought to those around her.

A visitation and gathering to honor Adelina's life will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
